1. Who we are and how to contact us

Kentures Ltd ("Kentures", "we", "us") is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and our services. If you have questions about how we handle your data, please contact us at the address above or via the contact form on our website.

2. What information we collect

We collect information you provide directly when completing forms on our website — including your name, email address, phone number, property address, and details about your EV charging requirements. We also collect technical data about your visit, including your IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, through standard server logs and analytics tools.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, process and deliver installation services, manage grant applications on your behalf, send you confirmation and aftercare communications related to your project, and to improve our website and services. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing without your explicit consent.

4. Legal basis for processing

We process your information on the basis of contract (where you have engaged our services), legitimate interest (responding to enquiries and improving services), and legal obligation (retaining installation records for compliance purposes). Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time.

5. How long we keep your information

We retain customer records for seven years following the completion of a project to meet our legal and tax obligations. Enquiry records not progressing to installation are held for 12 months. You may request deletion of your data at any time, subject to any legal retention requirements that apply.

6. Sharing your information

We share your information with the OZEV-approved engineers assigned to your installation and, where applicable, with the Office for Zero Emission Vehicles (OZEV) as part of the grant application process. We do not sell your data. We may share data with trusted service providers (such as email delivery and analytics platforms) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.

7. Your rights

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us in writing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

8. Cookies

Our website uses cookies to function correctly and to understand how visitors use the site. For full information on the cookies we use and your choices, please read our Cookie Policy.
